Georg Kromppein

Georg Kromppein (* 1586 ; † May 11, 1664 ) was the town and office clerk of Balingen .

His first marriage was to Anna Kurrer. With her he had a daughter, Agatha Sophia Kromppein (baptized May 29, 1629). She married Wolfgang Sigmund Geß, who matriculated in Tübingen on July 10, 1648, then studied for three years with the town clerk Lang in Nürtingen and then in 1654 became a substitute and in 1658 adjunct of the town clerk in Balingen, i.e. with his father-in-law Georg Krompein. In 1658 Geß was also adjunct of the clerical administration, 1664–1697 town clerk in Balingen, 1689 deputy bailiff and cellar.

In his third marriage he was married to Sabine Kromppein, geb. Welling (* 1595; † 1672). The professor's daughter came from Tübingen and her first marriage was pastor Kaspar Schäfer zu Burtenbach . As a widow, she eventually became Georg Kromppein's third wife.
