Georg Loibl

Georg Loibl (born December 14, 1921 in Grafenau ; † April 20, 1994 there ) was a German politician ( CSU ).

Loibl attended elementary and vocational training schools in Grafenau and Passau and completed commercial and professional training in electrical engineering with the completion of the assistant examination. Then he was a soldier in World War II and was an American prisoner of war. In 1948 he passed the master craftsman's examination in the electrical trade, in 1958 he joined the Loibl company in Grafenau as a personally liable partner. There he was a publicly appointed and sworn expert for the electrical trade.

Loibl was city councilor in Grafenau from 1960 and there from 1966 second mayor and parliamentary group chairman. In the same year he became district councilor, where from 1970 he was parliamentary group leader of the CSU and deputy district administrator. He was also deputy administrative chairman of the Sparkasse Freyung-Grafenau , local chairman of the CSU Grafenau, district chairman of the CSU, member of the district executive committee of the CSU Niederbayern and member of the party committee of the CSU. On March 15, 1978, Loibl replaced Heinrich Schmidhuber , who had left the Bavarian State Parliament, to which he was a member until 1986.

Loibl was 1st Gauschützenmeister of Schützengau Grafenau and Honorary Chairman of TSV Grafenau in 1862.
