Georg Ludwig Otto Nanne

Georg Ludwig (Louis) Otto Nanne (born September 11, 1825 in Neuhaus ; † January 4, 1903 in Lübeck ) was a German lawyer and farmer .

Life

Nanne was the son of the bailiff at the Wustrow office in Wendland Georg Christian Nanne (1791–1862). He was until Easter 1844 student of the school of the town of Celle and then began university studies of jurisprudence . From autumn 1847 to Easter 1849 Nanne worked as an auditor for his father. His doctorate as Dr. jur. took place on June 1, 1849 at the University of Göttingen . On December 1, 1849, he married the daughter of the doctor CWAA Schröder in Groß Borstel . He moved there and bought two farms that he managed himself. He sold this property in 1873 and in 1875 acquired the Frauenholz estate near Oldesloe , where he lived for eleven years. After the property was sold in 1886, he lived in Lübeck until the end of his life.

Nanne was a member of the Hamburg parliament from 1859 to 1862 . In addition, he was from 1866 to 1875 appraisal citizen in the country and 1870 to 1875 member of the election commission for the jury. In 1873 he acted as chairman of the community council in Groß Borstel.
