Georg Regner

Georg Regner (born June 6, 1953 ) is a former Austrian sprinter .

He was twice Austrian champion over 100 meters and four times Austrian champion with the 4 x 100 meter relay .

Together with Axel Nepraunik , Gert Nöster and Helmut Lang , he reached the semi-finals of the 4 x 100 meter relay at the 1972 Olympic Games in Munich .

Life

Regner graduated from the Bundesgymnasium and Bundesrealgymnasium Franklinstrasse 21 . He started for UKJ-Vienna, from 1972 for the ULC Wildschek. Georg Regner still lives in Vienna - Floridsdorf today . He is married and has two grown daughters.

  • 100 m: 10.4 s (10.64 e), June 27, 1972, Warsaw - Austrian junior record until 1982
