Georg Rothenburger (born January 7, 1984 in Erlabrunn ) is a German handball player .
Career
Rothenburger started playing handball at the age of nine in Graz. For the 2003/04 season he moved to his home country for EHV Aue . It was not until 2013 that he signed another contract in Austria with the first division club Union Leoben due to family circumstances . In 2015 he moved to the Styrian regional league club HIB Graz, where he was promoted to the second highest Austrian handball league in the 2015/16 season.
