Georg Sailer

Georg Sailer (born February 8, 1874 in Vienna ; † December 14, 1935 there ) was an Austrian politician ( SDAP ).

Life

After completing compulsory school, Georg Sailer learned the profession of printer and was active as a typesetter and proofreader until 1907 . He then became a member of a cooperative . During the First World War , Sailer served as a front-line soldier for around a year and a half.

In May 1919 he entered the Lower Austrian state parliament for the Social Democratic Labor Party . From December 1920 to July 1922 he was a member of the Federal Council and from July 1922 to October 1930 a member of the SDAP to the National Council .
