Georg Schott (writer)

Georg Schott (born February 3, 1882 in Landshut , † May 9, 1962 in Munich ) was a German writer, lay preacher and the author of an early biography of Adolf Hitler ("Volksbuch vom Hitler", Munich 1924).

Life

He received his doctorate in Erlangen in 1913 with the theological dissertation Harald Höffding as a religious philosopher and then lived as a private scholar. Among other things, he published on fairy tales and cultural philosophy. At times he was close to anthroposophy .
