Georg Streif
Georg Streif (born December 21, 1961 in Marktoberdorf ) has been the head national trainer of the men's team of the German Taekwondo Union and Vice President of the Bavarian Taekwondo Union since 2017 .
Career
Georg Streif learned the professions as a sports soldier, qualified trainer and machine fitter.

- Participation in the World Games 1985 in London - GBR
- Bronze medal at the 1986 European Championships in Seefeld in Tirol - AUT
- Silver medal at the World Cup 1987 in Helsinki - FIN
- Bronze medal at the 1987 World Cup in Barcelona - ESP
- Participation in the 1988 Olympic Games in Seoul - KOR (with Taekwondo as a demonstration sport )
- Silver medal at the World Games 1989 in Karlsruhe - GER
- Gold medal at the 1998 European Cup in Santander - ESP
- Gold medal at the 1990 European Championships in Aarhus - DEN

- 1989 to 1993 as regional coach in Bavaria 3 times German Cup winners of the youth
- 1994 to 1999 as a men's national coach, taking care of world and European champions and several times among the top 5 at world and European level
- 1995 World Champion title by Aziz Acharki 1995 in Manila - PHI. Men's team ranking 3rd place
- 2000 as head national trainer of the German Taekwondo Union (DTU), team European champion 2000 (men), vice European champion (overall)
- 2000 three Olympic qualifiers in Sydney - AUS
- 2000 Olympic silver medal in Sydney - AUS by Faissal Ebnoutalib
- 2002 - 2016 national coach of the DTU (focus - south and sports soldiers)
- 2003 - 2007 Competitive Sports Coordinator of the Bavarian Taekwondo Union (BTU)
- 2007 until now vice-president duel of the BTU
- Multiple victory of the BTU in the national ranking at German championships
- Multiple team victory at ETU and WTF A-Class tournaments of the BTU team
- 2010 Military World Championship in Canada, team ranking 1st place
- 2013 acceptance into the "Taekwondo Hall of Fame"
- 2015 Presentation of the "Knight Award Military" in Muju - KOR
- 2017 chief national coach men of the DTU
- 2017 world champion title by Alexander Bachmann in Muju - KOR. As head national coach of the men's team
- In 2019, Alexander Bachmann won a direct Olympic starting place.
