Georg Tobias Dürr

Georg Tobias Dürr (* in the 17th century in Augsburg ; † September 3, 1712 ) was a German physician, city physician of the free imperial city of Augsburg and member of the academy of scholars " Leopoldina ".

Life

Georg Tobias Dürr received his doctorate in medicine in Ingolstadt in 1658. In 1659 he was accepted into the medical college of the free imperial city of Augsburg. Around 1670 he became Physicus of the Margraviate of Burgau in Günzburg. He was vicar of the medical college as well as visitor to the pharmacies and court physician of the archduke. He was also a spa doctor in Krummbad in Swabia.

On October 28, 1688, Georg Tobias Dürr with the surname DAMOKRATES was accepted as a member ( matriculation number 164 ) in the Leopoldina .
