Georg Wolff (politician, 1877)

Georg Wolff (born August 21, 1877 in Fulda ; † after 1930) was a German lawyer , association official and politician ( DVP ).

Life

After attending grammar school, Wolff studied law. He completed a legal internship at courts and became a doctor of law doctorate . He then entered the Prussian administrative service. He first worked at the Halle Railway Directorate and was most recently a councilor in the Prussian State Ministry. In the 1920s he became managing director of the Mitteldeutsches Braunkohlen-Syndikat GmbH based in Leipzig . In addition, he was a member of the supervisory board of the AG Reichskohlenverband in Berlin and a member of the board of the German Brown Coal Industry Association in Halle (Saale) .

Wolff joined the German People's Party (DVP) after 1918. In February 1921 he was elected as a member of the Prussian state parliament, to which he belonged until 1928.
