Georg Wolschke

Georg Wolschke (* around 1650 , † after 1717 ) was a German cabinet maker from Calau . He created altarpieces , pulpits and baptismal angels in churches in Niederlausitz.

Characteristic are mostly two angels with cross and staff as the torture instruments of Christ on altar pieces, also on organ prospectus

His son Gottfried Wolschke continued the activity and created the altar and pulpit in Groß Jehser, 1724.
