Georg von Brandis (District Administrator)

Georg von Brandis (born June 15, 1847 in Hanover , † December 6, 1904 in Wiesbaden ) was a German manor owner, administrative and court official and parliamentarian.

Life

Georg von Brandis studied law at the Georg-August University in Göttingen and the Friedrich Wilhelms University in Berlin . In 1868 he became a member of the Corps Bremensia Göttingen . After graduation he became a civil servant in the Prussian civil service. From 1898 until his death in 1904 he was district administrator for the district of Schwerin (Warthe) .

Von Brandis was a Prussian chamberlain and manor owner in Neuhaus near Schwerin an der Warthe . He was district deputy and dike captain, from 1892 to 1898 he was a member of the Prussian manor house for the constituency of Posen 3 (Samter, Birnbaum, Schwerin a. W.) . He belonged to the faction of the Conservative Party .
