Georg von Stuckrad
Georg von Stuckrad (born May 1, 1783 in Kassel , † June 5, 1876 in Weißenfels ) was a Prussian officer and district administrator.
Life
Georg von Stuckrad came from a Hessian family and was a soldier in Dragoon Regiment No. 11 (von Voss) and Dragoon Regiment No. 14 (von Wobeser) from 1799 to 1808 and had the rank of Prussian Dragoon Rittmeister . In 1814 he joined the gendarmerie until he was employed by the Erfurt government from 1819 to 1823 . He then became district administrator of the district of Ziegenrück . At his own request he was transferred and on March 12, 1827 District Administrator of the Beckum district . He worked here for a good year until, on request, he was transferred on September 17, 1828 and became district administrator of the Weißenfels district . He held this office until his dismissal from civil service in 1846. Georg von Stuckrad married Princess Karoline von Waldeck-Bergheim, daughter of Josias II. (Waldeck-Bergheim) on October 5, 1807 at Bergheim Castle
