Georg von Widmont
Georg von Widmont auf Offendorf , originally Georg Widmann , also Georgius de Widmont (* around 1640 ; † May 6, 1706 in Ingolstadt ), was a German lawyer and university professor.
Life
Georg von Widmont was born around 1640. He was initially an electoral Bavarian court counselor in Munich . From 1668 he was lord of the castle in Offendorf. On October 6, 1671, he appeared as a professor for pandect science at the University of Innsbruck . He also worked as a lawyer there. 1676 he became a professor at the University of Ingolstadt for institutions teaching , Pandectist , process and feudal law . He died on May 6, 1706 in Ingolstadt .
