George Bretnall
George Bretnall ( George Stuart Bretnall; born September 11, 1895 in Blairstown , Iowa , † March 20, 1974 in Ames , Iowa) was an American sprinter who had specialized in the 400-meter run .
At the Olympic Games in Antwerp in 1920, he finished fourth in the 4 x 400 meter relay .
He set his personal best of 49.4 s on July 16, 1920 in Cambridge .
