George FitzGerald (music producer)

George FitzGerald (* in Watford ) is a British DJ and music producer . He mainly releases with the independent labels Double Six Records and Hotflush Recordings .

Before starting his career, Fitzgerald worked for the record store Black Market Records , where he was able to make first contacts with the London music scene. In 2010 he moved to Berlin and began producing and publishing electronic dance music . Shortly afterwards he signed his first contract with the Hotflush Recordings label . Fitzgerald decided to make a living producing electronic dance music and to pursue a career. Through various publications, such as Don't you and Fernweh , he initially gained some local fame in the Berlin techno scene. He remixed music by artists Jessie Ware and Throwing Snow , among others . His breakthrough came in 2013 when he was a guest on the renowned Essential Mix music show on BBC Radio 1 . He was then signed by the independent label Double Six Records . In 2018 Fitzgerald released his debut album . The album features guest contributions by Tracey Thorn and Lil Silva .

George FitzGerald's productions can be largely assigned to the genres of tech house and deep house . He often uses vocals elements in his songs .
