George Frenn
George Frenn ( George Michael Frenn; born December 26, 1941 in San Fernando , California - † June 26, 2006 in Sacramento ) was an American hammer thrower .
At the Pan American Games he won bronze in Winnipeg in 1967 and silver in Cali in 1971 .
At the 1972 Olympic Games in Munich he was eliminated from qualifying, and at the 1975 Pan American Games in Mexico City he was seventh.
He was twice US champion in hammer throw (1970, 1971) and six times US indoor champion in weight throwing (1970-1973, 1975, 1977).
He set his personal best of 70.89 m on May 30, 1970 in Berkeley .
