George Garbutt
George Frederick Garbutt (born June 18, 1903 in Winnipeg , Manitoba , † September 21, 1967 ibid) was a Canadian ice hockey player . At the Olympic Winter Games in 1932 , he won the gold medal as a member of the Canadian national team.
Career
George Garbutt began his career as a hockey player at the University of Manitoba . At the 1932 Winter Games, he represented Canada with the Winnipeg Hockey Club.
International
For Canada Garbutt took part in the 1932 Winter Olympics in Lake Placid , where he won the gold medal with his team.
