George Glueck

George Glueck (born June 28, 1950 in Oradea , Transylvania , Romania ) is a music producer and manager in the area of artists and repertoire .

Life

George Glueck grew up in Queens, New York City . In 1975 he came to Berlin and joined the Meisel publishing house of the music publisher Peter Meisel , who founded Hansa Musik Produktion , the first German independent label based on the US model, in 1964.

Glueck worked with Falco , Trio , Rainbirds , the group Die Prinzen , Inga and Annette Humpe and Rio Reiser . He was also the managing director of the record labels X-Cell Records and Sing Sing Records . The X-Cell Records label , which Glueck founded in 1998, is now part of the Universal Music Group after they took over Glueck's former joint venture partner BMG Music Publishing in 2007.

Contracts include Sarah Connor , Ich + Ich , Lulu Lewe , Marc Terenzi , H-Blockx , Olli Dittrich and Texas Lightning .

In the casting show X Factor broadcast on RTL and VOX in 2010 , Glueck was a jury member alongside Sarah Connor and Till Brönner .
