George Guida
George Guida ( George James Guida; born August 29, 1924 in Philadelphia , † September 7, 2015 in San Francisco ) was an American sprinter .
In 1948 he qualified in the US eliminations as third over 400 m for the Olympic Games in London , where he was sixth.
In 1947 he was US indoor champion over 600 yards . He set his personal best over 440 yards of 47.2 s (corresponds to 46.9 s over 400 m) on June 3, 1949 in Compton .
