George Hertzberg (born November 6, 1972 in Glens Falls , New York ) is an American actor . He was best known for his role as Adam in the 1997-2003 television series Buffy - The Vampire Slayer . Before joining the series as an actor, he had already worked as a makeup artist in seven previously produced episodes . In the 2000 film Too Much Magic , he acted as both screenwriter and actor, and as executive producer .

Life

Hertzberg, who was born in 1972 in the city of Glens Falls , New York State , began his acting career in film and television in 1996 when he was first seen on the left in an episode of Behind the Moon . In the following years a number of engagements in various film productions followed (1997: Colin Fitz , 1999: The Pornographer and Too Much Magic , in which he himself worked as a screenwriter and executive producer as well as an actor), as well as in one episode from Listen who's hammering (1998). He also made it into the cast of the American television series Buffy - The Vampire Slayer in 2000 and was featured in the series as Adam , a specially created hybrid of parts of demons, humans and robots, who was intended as the perfect soldier , used. It also happens that Hertzberg was used for a large part of the fourth season and also made an appearance in an episode of the series in 2002. Even before he even got into the series as an actor, he was already active as a makeup artist on seven episodes of the series. After leaving Buffy the Vampire Slayer , Hertzberg's involvement in film and television productions decreased rapidly. In 2001 he was still in an episode of Any Day Now and Here Comes Bush! and had to wait around two years for another appearance in a television series after a brief appearance in Providence (2002). In 2004 there was finally an engagement for the series All of Us , in which he was only used in a single episode. This also happened in 2006 when he was featured in an episode of Ghost Whisperer , and in 2008 when he was featured in an episode of Friday Night Lights . He also made it into the cast of the French action film 96 Hours in the same year , in which he played a small and insignificant supporting role. After that he was no longer involved in any well-known production and is currently (as of December 2010) waiting for further engagements in the film and television sector.
