Here comes Bush! ( That's My Bush! ) Is an American sitcom and satire produced and written by Trey Parker and Matt Stone on the term of office of US President George W. Bush and his personality as well as people from his private and political circles. The series started in 2001.
The show's creators, Matt Stone and Trey Parker, waited three months to decide whether to shoot “Everyone Loves Al” about Al Gore or “That's my Bush” about George W. Bush, depending on the results of the presidential election . The working title was "Family First". The original English title That's my Bush should actually be translated as “This is my bush”. "Bush" is a common name for intimate hair , especially in women. The show was supposed to be a satire of the sitcom genre rather than mocking George W. Bush. It contains clichés like the naive husband, his smarter wife and a crazy neighbor.
Although the sitcom brought in enough viewership, it was discontinued after eight episodes because it was too expensive at around 700,000 US dollars per episode - and thus Comedy Central's most expensive in-house production. In the South Park episode "The Super Best Friends" is the Here Comes Bush! - Cast seen as cartoon characters. The title track is from Parkers / Stones band DVDA. The entire season was released on DVD in the USA .
