George Konrote
George Konrote , also Jioji Konousi Konrote (born December 26, 1947 in Rotuma ), is a politician from Fiji .
Life
Konrote studied at the Australian Defense College during his military training . From 2001 to 2006 he was the High Commissioner for Fiji in Australia . As the successor to Epeli Nailatikau, he has been President of Fiji since November 2015. He belongs to the FijiFirst party . Konrote is married to Sarote Faga Konrote and has two children.
