George Nicol (born December 28, 1886 in Battersea, London Borough of Wandsworth , † January 28, 1967 in Brighton ) was a British sprinter .
At the Olympic Games in London in 1908 , he reached the semi-finals over 400 m .
In 1912 he retired over the same distance at the Olympic Games in Stockholm again in the semifinals and won bronze with the British team in the 4 x 400 meter relay .
In 1913 he became English champion over 440 yards with his personal best of 49.4 s .
