Georges Beerden
Georges Beerden (born January 17, 1938 in Stevoort near Hasselt , † October 13, 2010 in Hasselt) was a Belgian politician .
The agricultural engineer Beerden belonged to the Christian Democratic Party in Vlaams (CVP) and was a member of the Chamber of Deputies from 1978 to 1991 . He was then elected to the Senate and sat in the Flemish Parliament from 1995 to 1999 .
