Georges Rechberger

Georges Rechberger (born August 10, 1961 in Heimberg BE ) is a Swiss painter .

life and work

As the middle of three children of Walter and Monique Rechberger, Georges Rechberger grew up bilingual and attended elementary school in Heimberg and Thun . At a young age, Georges accompanied his father to model and life drawing . At the age of 16 he attended the graphics class at the school for design in Biel / Bienne , which he graduated in 1982. Since then he has been working as a freelance painter. In 1986 he went on a two-year trip around the world. He has lived and worked in Salvador da Bahia since 1987 . The country, the people and everyday life serve Georges Rechberger as a motif for his art. His works have been exhibited in galleries and companies in Switzerland and Brazil.
