Georgi Khelbarov

Georgi Stefanow Chlebarow (born December 6, 1886 in Stara Sagora , † March 30, 1968 in Sofia ) was a Bulgarian animal breeder.

Life

Chlebarow first studied agriculture in Halle (Saale) and then animal husbandry in Berlin and Halle. From 1936 to 1942 he was director of the Central Animal Research Institute in Sofia. He was a member of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences .

In his scientific work he dealt with the research and breeding of native animal breeds for Bulgarian agriculture.
