George Bell

The Georgs bell of the Protestant church in Langenbach im Taunus is one of the oldest bells in the Nassau region and dates from 1444 . It was made by the well-known bell founder Christian Duisterwalt from Cologne .

The diameter is 810 mm. External design: crown with round temples, a high central temple. Single line minus inscription between two twisted ribbons:

Under the relief of the crucified: St. Anthony with nimbus , habit , the pilgrim's staff in his right hand; left: a bush, in front of it a pig. Furthermore: pilgrim badges of Bad Wilsnack - Blood hosts ; - Madonna , Saint George . Bars: 1 on the shoulder, 2 on the center of the hood, 3 on the Wolm , 2 on the brass knuckles .
