Tool shed (Alexisbad)
The tool shed is a listed building in the district of Alexisbad in the Harz, which belongs to the town of Harzgerode in Saxony-Anhalt .

It is located in the Selketal in the center of Alexisbad on the eastern side of the county road. It is registered as a tool shed in the local monument register. A little further east of the building, on the other side of the investments of Selketalbahn flows the Selke .
Architecture and history
The small building was erected in the 19th century in half-timbered construction. The framework is decorated with decorative shapes. As a tool shed, it belonged to the property of the ducal villa, the so-called Schweizerhaus , which was destroyed in the Second World War. The coal for the central heating of the Swiss house is said to have been stored in the shed.
