Gerald Evans

Gerald Evans (born March 2, 1934 ) is a former South African sprinter and middle -distance runner who specialized in the 400 and 800 meter distances .

At the British Empire and Commonwealth Games in Cardiff in 1958 , he won with the South African team in the 4-times-440-yard relay. Over 440 yards he was eliminated in the semi-finals, over 880 yards in the preliminary run.
