Gerd-Bodo von Carlsburg

Gerd-Bodo von Carlsburg (born August 18, 1942 in Dresden ) is a German educational scientist and professor emeritus at the Heidelberg University of Education .

Life

Gerd-Bodo von Carlsburg completed a teaching degree at the University of Hamburg , where he passed the first state examination in 1970 and the second state examination in 1972. He taught at the Heinrich Hertz School in Hamburg. After receiving his doctorate in 1972, he worked as a lecturer at the University of Hamburg. At the same time, from 1973 to 1975, he worked as an academic advisor at the Bergische Universität Wuppertal . From March 1, 1975 he was a professor at the Heidelberg University of Education. From 1982 to 1984 he was a representative of the full chair for history and systematics of education at the Helmut Schmidt University in Hamburg. At the Heidelberg University of Education, he was department head from 1991 to 1994 and vice dean in 1994/95, later director of the institute. From 1994 he also accepted a visiting professorship at the Pedagogical University of Vilnius , later the Lithuanian University for Educational Sciences, and received an honorary doctorate there in 1995. From 1996 to 2000 he was also a visiting professor at the Tallinn University of Education, today's Tallinn University , which awarded him an honorary doctorate in 1999. After 2000 he was also a visiting professor at the Tallinn Music Academy , until 2012 and 2016 and 2018-2020 lecturer at the Karlsruhe University of Education and until 2012 also lecturer at the Trossingen University of Music .

In 1992 he was promoted to Colonel DR.

In addition, he was chairman of the DGfE section on differential education research and the DGfE commission on psychoanalytical education for two years . He is President of the World Association for Renewal of Education eV, honorary member of the EIPOS Institute eV (European Institute for Postgraduate Education) at the Technical University of Dresden and member of the Federal Board of Trustees of the CJD eV ( Christian Youth Village Association in Germany ).
