Gerd Lottsiepen

Gerd Lottsiepen (born October 6, 1953 in Essen ) is the transport policy spokesman for the ecological transport club VCD , transport expert and lobbyist for sustainable mobility.

Life

Gerd Lottsiepen studied social sciences in Bochum and Göttingen. From 1983 to 1992 he worked on several projects at the Technical University of Berlin (department for traffic education research and teaching). In the project "Education for environmentally conscious driving behavior in driver training" he worked on behavior-related and technical aspects of the topic of cars and the environment. He has remained true to this thematic focus ever since. From 1992 to 1993 he headed the Berlin regional office of the Verkehrsclub Deutschland . Lottsiepen has been a consultant at the VCD federal office since 1994 , initially in Bonn , and from 1999 in Berlin , where he lobbies for environmentally and socially compatible mobility as the transport policy spokesman for the environmental association .

Since 1995 Lottsiepen has been responsible for the annual VCD Auto-Umweltliste , which has been published since 1989 .
