Wuyue ( Chinese 吳越國 / 吴越国 , Pinyin Wúyuèguó ) was one of the Ten Kingdoms in China from 907 to 978 . The empire extended roughly across what is now the province of Zhejiang and Shanghai . The capital was Hangzhou .
