Gerda Laufer (born January 3, 1910 in Würzburg ; † November 24, 1999 there ) was a German politician ( SPD ).

Laufer attended elementary school, the pre-school in the institute of the English Misses in Würzburg and the Lyceum. She then worked as a cashier, buyer and department manager in a department store. In 1929 she joined both the SPD and the trade union. In 1952 she became second chairwoman of the workers' welfare in the Lower Franconia district and second chairwoman of the SPD in the Franconian district, she also sat on the SPD party council and was the first chairwoman of the Society for Political Education. From 1963 to 1973 she chaired the SPD's regional women's group in Bavaria. In 1945 she was first appointed city councilor in the Würzburg city council, before she was elected city councilor, and she held the mandate until 1956. She was first advisory board member also followed up in 1958 elected members of the District tags of Lower Franconia . From 1954 to 1974 she was a member of the Bavarian State Parliament . At times she sat there on the council of elders and was deputy chairman of the SPD parliamentary group.

She was awarded the Bavarian Order of Merit on December 7, 1964. In 1995 she was made an honorary citizen of the city of Würzburg .
