From 1964 to 1991 he hosted 333 of these sports programs with alternating assistants, including Nadine Krüger , in which students competed against each other in order to determine the best team. The school groups had to qualify for the finals beforehand in eliminations. In school or city teams, the children completed imaginative, funny and health-promoting sports and play relays, in which speed, skill and team spirit were the prerequisites for being able to participate. At the end of the year, the best teams competed for the trophy donated by the National Olympic Committee of the GDR.

Even after the turnaround and the discontinuation of its broadcast, “Adi” continued to present, especially events in which children can actively participate in sport.

In 2005 he was the ambassador of the " International German Gymnastics Festival " (IDTF) in Berlin.
