Gerhard Anger (2010)

Gerhard Anger (born December 19, 1975 in Munich ) is a pianist and German politician . He was twice chairman of the Berlin State Association of the Pirate Party .

Life

Gerhard Anger worked for Erasys GmbH in Berlin. Until January 2013 he was the company's managing director.

In 2011 he ran for the state board of the Berlin state board at the state members' meeting of the Pirate Party and was initially state chairman of the Berlin Pirate Party as the successor to Andreas Baum . On February 25, 2012, he announced that he would not run again for the position of national chairmanship, as he did not see himself in a position to cope with the emotional stresses that came with the office. Hartmut Semken became the new chairman . After he resigned three months later, Anger ran again in September and was elected chairman with 79.7 percent. In 2014 he decided not to run again for the office of chairman and was replaced by Christopher Lauer .
