Gerhard Brosi

Gerhard Brosi (born August 8, 1943 in Kirchberg an der Murr ; † April 3, 1984 in Mannheim ) was a German SPD politician .

Brosi completed a degree in elementary and secondary school and a degree in law and social sciences, which he completed in 1972. He then worked as a research assistant for the study group for systems research in Heidelberg and the Society for Nuclear Research in Karlsruhe until 1980 . From 1980 onwards, Brosi became a professor in 1983.

He was a member of the Public Services, Transport and Traffic and Workers Welfare Union . Since 1969 he has been a member of the SPD, and in 1974 he became chairman of the district association of the SPD in Heidelberg. From 1977 he was a member of the SPD state executive committee and from 1981 presidium member of the SPD state executive committee of Baden-Württemberg. In 1983 he moved into the Bundestag via the state list of Baden-Württemberg and was then a member of the German Bundestag until his death .
