Gerhard Graf-Martinez (* 1952 in Schorndorf ) is a German flamenco guitarist, composer and author of textbooks for flamenco guitar .

First activities as a musical autodidact in rock and blues music. 1982 Founding of the flamenco jazz group “Modo Nuevo” with Capo Mayer (bass) and Michael Kersting (drums). As a member of the "Peña Flamenca Sierra Blanca Marbella" he organized the "Curso Internacional De La Guitarra Flamenca" in Marbella ( Málaga ) from 1984 to 1987 . From 1987 to 1989 he was on the road nationwide and in what was then the GDR as a duo partner with Thomas Friz ( Zupfgeigenhansel ). In 1990 he founded the Schorndorfer Gitarrentage, which he directed until 1994. Between 1989 and 1996 he was invited as a lecturer to many workshops and guitar seminars, including the annual international guitar weeks in Lienz, Salzburg and Vaduz. During the same period he toured Europe with his wife, the flamenco dancer Lela de Fuenteprado. During these years he worked more and more as an author and has now published sixteen publications worldwide ( guitar schools and textbooks with CDs, CD-ROM, DVDs) in German and English. In 2005 he received the German Educational Media Prize and the Comenius Medal for his DVD "Flamenco Guitar". The DVD "Gipsy Guitar - Rumbas flamencas ... y mas", released in 2008, was nominated for the " digita 2009" and received the Comenius EduMedia award from the GPI 2009.
