Gerhard Jungfer

Gerhard Jungfer (born June 23, 1940 in Berlin ; † July 3, 2017 there ) was a German lawyer and criminal defense attorney. He appeared in various large German criminal trials, including as defense attorney for Erich Mielke . He also dealt with professional and legal issues relating to the legal profession, especially criminal defense in the past and present. Jungfer was a founding member of the Criminal Law Working Group of the German Bar Association . He had his law firm in Berlin.
