Gerhard Laub

Gerhard Laub (born November 10, 1920 in Leiferde ; † June 3, 2007 in Goslar ) was a German mining historian and historian of the Harz Mountains.

Foliage grew up in Oker . His main occupation was the leading trade director in Hamburg . In 1991 he moved back to Oker.

In many publications he dealt with the Harz Mountains and its mining. In 1999 he received the Brothers Grimm Medal from the Academy of Sciences in Göttingen .

He was also a speleologist.

His estate is in the Clausthal University Archives.
