August Burchard Raphael von Rosenberg-Gruszczynski

August Burchard Raphael von Rosenberg-Gruszczynski (* December 12, 1770 in Schönwalde; † November 8, 1836 there ) was a Prussian district administrator . He successively chaired the Kulm district and the Graudenz district .

He came from the Prussian aristocratic Rosenberg-Gruszczynski family . His father Franz Heinrich von Rosenberg-Gruszczynski (* 1721; † 1792) was a Polish major general and landowner. His mother Albertine Sophie Caroline (* 1743, † 1809) was born Countess von Rittberg . He had thirteen siblings, including the younger brother Adolf von Rosenberg-Gruszczynski (* 1779, † 1844), who rose to major general in the Prussian army.

August Burchard Raphael von Rosenberg-Gruszczynski joined the Prussian Army around 1785 , where he last served as a lieutenant in a dragoon regiment .

In 1793 he was to succeed August Christian Ludwig von Puttkamer , who had changed to the War and Domain Chamber in Posen as War and Domain Councilor, as the new District Administrator of the Kulm district in West Prussia . His formal appointment dragged on until 1797. When the Kulm district was re-cut in 1818, he became the first district administrator of the newly formed Graudenz district .

He was married to Johanne Charlotte, born von der Marwitz (* 1778, † 1861). The marriage resulted in four daughters and one son.
