Gerhard Liebscher

Gerhard Liebscher (* 1955 in Heidelberg ) is a German manager and politician ( Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen ). He has been a member of the Saxon State Parliament since January 2020 as a replacement for the Member of Parliament, Gerd Lippold, who was appointed as State Secretary .

Life

Gerhard Liebscher completed an apprenticeship as a chemical laboratory assistant by 1976 and graduated from the Mannheim University of Applied Sciences with a degree in engineering (FH). He then worked in various positions and companies in the semiconductor industry. Before his retirement in 2019 he was the managing director of a lighting company.

Politics and party

Gerhard Liebscher has held a mandate in the district council of the Vogtlandkreis as parliamentary leader of his party since 2019 .
