Gerhard W. Mandl
Gerhard W. Mandl (* 1954 ) is an Austrian geologist .
Life
After graduating from the HTL St. Pölten in 1974, he studied electrical engineering for four semesters at the Technical University of Vienna and from 1976 to 1982 geology at the University of Vienna . He then worked as an assistant at the Institute for Foundation Engineering, Geology and Rock Engineering at the Vienna University of Technology until 1984 and, from 1984, a geologist at the Federal Geological Institute . His main field of activity is sedimentary geology .
