Gerhard Neumann (writer)
Gerhard Neumann , pseudonym AG Petermann (born February 2, 1930 in Koethen , † September 24, 2002 in Halle ) was a German theater scholar, director, director and writer . He became known for his crime novels .
Life
After graduating from high school, he went to Magdeburg in 1948. Gerhard Neumann completed his training as an actor and was a qualified theater scientist. As director of the Stassfurt Theater , he staged his own Molière translation by George Dandin in 1952 .
He later went to DEFA as a screenwriter . Together with Hans-Albert Pederzani he wrote the screenplay for The premiere falls out (75 min, 1959). As early as 1956 he wrote the script for Treffpunkt Aimée .
In 1986 and 1988 he was awarded the Handel Prize of the Halle district .
