Gerhard Pennemann

Gerhard Pennemann (born October 29, 1906 in Brual ; † September 1, 1985 in Weener ) was a German farmer and politician ( center ).

Pennemann was born as the son of the farmer and agricultural functionary Theodor Pennemann , who belonged to the Reichstag for the Center Party from 1920 to 1930. After the Brualer elementary school he attended a grammar school in Meppen. From 1932 he worked in Brahe-Rhede as an independent farmer. In the Second World War he did military service from 1943 to 1945. He later became mayor and district council member in the Aschendorf-Hümmling district of Rhede .

From April 20, 1947 to October 10, 1950, he was a member of the first freely elected Lower Saxony state parliament for the Center Party , and at the end of the legislative period from June 26, 1950 to October 10, 1950 , he acted as the parliamentary group leader.
