Gerhard Salzer

Gerhard Salzer (born April 6, 1912 in Frankfurt am Main ; † May 15, 1989 ) was a German politician ( FDP ) and a member of the Hessian state parliament .

Life and work

After graduating from high school, Salzer studied mechanical engineering at the TH Darmstadt and graduated as a graduate engineer. From 1945 to 1975 he was a partner in a transport system factory. From 1955 to 1975 he was chairman of the specialist group for conveyor technology.

politics

In 1945 Salzer was a founding member of the Offenbach City and District Association of the LDP. From 1945 to 1956 he was chairman of the Offenbach district association of the LDP / FDP, and later honorary chairman. In terms of local politics, he was active as a city councilor and chairman of the FDP parliamentary group in Offenbach from 1948 to 1964.

From December 9, 1949 to November 30, 1950, he was a member of the Hessian state parliament as a replacement for Max Becker .
