Gerhard Wilcke
Gerhard Wilcke (born January 21, 1903 in Neuruppin , † 1977 in Berlin ) was a German pharmacist , later a musicologist and composer .
Life
The son of a pharmacist from Neuruppin, after completing his second degree in musicology at the University of Rostock, was born in 1932 with his dissertation “Tonality and Modulation in the Mendelssohn and Schumanns String Quartet” (first published by Thiele Verlag, Lippstadt / Westphalia 1932; then as a book: C. Merseburger Verlag, Leipzig 1933 ) to Dr. phil. PhD .
He was known to Theodor Haubach and Gottfried Benn .
