Germaine Abessolo Bivina gained her first international experience at the 2014 African Championships in Marrakech , where she was eliminated with 25.35 s in the run over 200 meters and finished fifth with the Cameroonian 4 x 100 meter relay in 46.33 s . The following year, she was eliminated from the first round of the Summer Universiade in Gwangju over 100 and 200 meters. In August she won the silver medal behind the Ivorian Marie-Josée Ta Lou at the African Championships in Asaba in 23.36 seconds .
