Germán A. Glessner (born March 8, 1974 in Buenos Aires ) is an Argentine skeleton pilot .

Germán Glessner started for the Bobsleigh and Skeleton Association of Argentina and has been part of the national team in his home country since 1996. In December 1997 he made his debut in the Skeleton World Cup in Winterberg and finished in 37th place. His first World Cup race should remain his only one. Glessner's next international appearance was in 2000 in the Skeleton America's Cup , since 2001 in the Skeleton European Cup and in 2002 in the Skeleton Challenge Cup . The only major event for the Argentines were the 2002 Olympic Winter Games of Salt Lake City , where competitions Skeleton were held for the first time since 1948. Olympic. Glessner took 26th and last place. Until 2006 he drove on in lower class races, but without achieving significant results. After he missed another Olympic qualification, he ended his active career.
