Gerry Carr
Gerry Carr (actually Gerald Anthony Carr; born February 1, 1936 in London ) is a former British discus thrower .
At the Olympic Games in Melbourne in 1956 , he was tenth.
In 1958, starting for England , he won bronze at the British Empire and Commonwealth Games in Cardiff and was eleventh at the European Athletics Championships in Stockholm .
He set his personal best of 57.00 m on July 17, 1965 in Long Beach .
